Anand Mahindra is one of the most popular and active businessman on social media platform. He is often seen posting about Mahindra products on Twitter. His love for the brand is not something that he shows only for the social media. In real life, Anand Mahindra uses his Mahindra SUVs and here we have a list of Mahindra SUVs that he owns in his garage.
Mahindra Bolero Invader
This was one of the first cars that Anand Mahindra owned. It is a different version of the Bolero that we still have on sale. Invader had a shorter wheelbase and was aimed at customers who were looking for lifestyle SUV with only three doors. It looked sportier than the regular Bolero and it came with partial soft top and side facing seats for rear passengers.
Anand Mahindra bought a customised TUV300 SUV for himself when it was launched. He got Mahindra’s Armour kit installed on the TUV300 which gave it a tank like look and feel. The kit along with the battle green shade of the TUV300 completed the rugged look of the SUV. Mahindra discontinued TUV300 from the market and with minor changes, it is now sold as Bolero Neo.
Mahindra TUV300 Plus
The TUV300 Plus owned by Anand Mahindra is called Grey Ghost. It got a special steel grey paint job hence the name. Anand Mahindra had tweeted once complaining that folks at Mahindra are making him wait for his TUV300 Plus because of the custom paint job.
Mr. Mahindra owns the first generation Scorpio. It is the 4×4 version that he has with him. The SUV is not seen much on the road these days. Scorpio is an SUV that has a huge fan following and even today, there are many customers who still have the first generation Scorpio. Mahindra has now renamed the original Scorpio as Scorpio Classic and the new version is called Scorpio N.
Mahindra Alturas G4
For those who don’t know, Alturas G4 is actually a rebadged version of Ssangyong Rexton which was once sold in India. Anand Mahindra bought himself one of these SUVs when it was launched in the market. Just like many of his SUVs, he has a name for this Alturas G4 too. He had actually asked his followers on social media to suggest a name. Of all the suggestion, he finalised the name – Baaz for his Alturas G4. Anand Mahindra even gifted the person a diecast model who suggested the name.
Mahindra launched the all-new Scorpio N in the market recently and deliveries for the same have also started. Anand Mahindra got himself a Scorpio N in Red shade. He even asked his friends and followers of social media for a nickname for the SUV and he did get one. He named the SUV Bheem. Name of a mythological character from Mahabharata, who is known for his strength. Mahindra Scorpio N is the only SUV in the segment that is offering a proper 4×4 system. This along with the competitive price is what made this SUV a huge success.
