Zelensky vows victory as Ukraine marks one-year anniversary of invasion

Earlier Friday Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told a press conference addressing the nation that victory over Russia was “inevitable” if Ukraine’s Western partners keep their promises. Zelensky was repeating his request for as much Western assistance as possible as the war entered its second year on February 24 in a state of grinding stalemate.
