The National Hurricane Center (NHC) says showers and associated with Invest 95L off the coast of Nicaragua in the southwestern Caribbean Sea continue to show signs of organization, and environmental conditions appear favorable for development.
The NHC said that if the system continues to develop, tropical advisories could be issued later on Monday and a short-lived tropical depression could form before the system moves inland over Nicaragua.
